Cook and AJN Steelstock bimota debut by leading opening session of 2026

The AJN Steelstock bimota debuted in the ZYN British Superbike Championship at Donington Park with Max Cook topping the opening track session at the R&G Official Test by 0.061s from Josh Brookes as the 2026 season got underway.

Ryan Vickers had led the majority of the session but in the closing stages, Cook moved to the top, with Brookes also edging ahead on the DAO Racing Honda by 0.037s.

Danny Kent debuted with Cheshire Mouldings Yamaha, ahead of McAMS Yamaha’s Bradley Ray with Kyle Ryde on his Ducati V4 R road bike in sixth place ahead of Leon Haslam.

Charlie Nesbitt led the TAG Hondas in eighth place ahead of Storm Stacey debuting on the Bathams AJN Racing Ducati and Christian Iddon completed the top ten for Sencat Racing Yamaha.
