McAMS Yamaha’s Bradley Ray topped the times in the opening session of the two day R&G Official Test at Oulton Park this morning, setting the pace by 0.318s as the countdown continues to the opening round of the season (May 2/3/4).
Ray led the debuting Ducatis with Glenn Irwin holding second place on the Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions Racing Ducati, 0.159s ahead of Hager PBM Racing Team’s Scott Redding.
Max Cook, who had set the pace at the opening test at Donington Park was fourth fastest on the AJN Steelstock bimota with reigning champion Kyle Ryde completing the top five riders in the opening session.
Rory Skinner led the Cheshire Mouldings Yamaha charge in sixth place ahead of Andrew Irwin onboard the MET fonaCAB Racing Ducati with Danny Kent, Jason O'Halloran and Joe Talbot completing the top ten riders.
