Ryan Frost denied Ethan Sparks the chance of a Donington Park hat-trick as he stole the Race Three victory with a last lap move.
Sparks, who had won the first two races in this triple-header weekend, hit the front on the second lap when he scythed past Frost at Redgate.
From there, it looked like the Kovara Projects/RS Racing rider was on course for another win as he set the pace, pulling Frost with him as the pair dropped the rest of the pack and built a lead of more than five seconds.
Frost was looking menacing behind rookie Sparks in the closing laps and it was inevitable he would make a move. It happened on the final lap as he dived up the inside at the Foggy Esses and once ahead, Sparks had no answer for him.
He crossed the line 0.251s clear of Sparks, as points leader Filip Surowiak was third, with Mason Foster fourth and Harrison Mackay fifth.
