Ilya Mikhalchik wasted no time in setting the pace this morning, as the points leader stormed straight to the top in FP1.
Following a win last time the pack hit Donington Park in May, the rookie was straight back on the pace, leading the session with a best lap of 1min 29.016s.
David Allingham, Mikhalchik’s closest rival in the championship chase, was second fastest, almost a second adrift as Luke Mossey was third – just 0.031s behind Allingham.
Kam Dixon ended the session fourth quickest, with Jack Bednarek fifth.
