FIM Sidecar World Championship:

Pekka Pairvarinta and Adam Christie took victory at the end of the first 10-lap race as they beat defending champs Payne and Rousseau by 7.960secs.

Pairvarinta/Christie hit the front on Lap Three with a move on Payne/Rousseau and built a solid lead which left them able to storm to the win unchallenged.

Blackstock/Lawrence were third with Christie/Christie fourth and Laidlow/Laidlow fifth.

Northern Talent Cup:

Fynn Kratochwil took victory at the end of today’s 12-lap race as he beat Robin Siegert by 1.171secs.

The cloudy and wet conditions had caught several riders out during the race, including Lorenzo Pontillo and Domi Pekkanen who had both led early in the race.

Kratochwil eventually got himself enough of a break at the front to take the win, as Siegert held off Tobias Kitzbichler to take second place, 0.318secs clear.

Tom Rolin was fourth as Anina Urlab crossed the line fifth.

Sam and Thomas Christie will head the grid after pipping Markus Schlosser and  Luca Schmidt to pole position by 0.090secs.

Defending champ, Britain’s Harry Payne and passenger Kevin Rousseau will start from third on the grid, just ahead of Pavarotti/Christie with Blackstock/Lawrence fifth.

Lorenzo Pontillo found his way back to the top of the timesheets when it mattered, claiming pole with a 1min 46.708sec lap to go 0.069s clear of Fynn Kratochwil.

Thias Wenzel will round out the front row, with Tobias Kitzbichler starting from fourth and Anina Urlab fifth.
