20 September 2025

Luke Stapleford continued to take charge of the Supersport pack at Assen this morning as he stormed to pole position, while many of the other championship big hitters looked to struggle.

The Macadam Triumph Racing rider added pole to his run at the top in the Netherlands with a best lap of 1min 38.566secs, ending the session 0.410secs clear of Binch Pro Ducati’s Oliver Barr.

Barr, who has been in the top three for most of the weekend so far, was able to hold onto second on the grid as MMB Racing Ducati’s Eugene McManus qualified third.

Ben Currie, currently second in the championship, will lead Row Two as Rhys Irwin – who leads Currie by just three points – will start from fifth.

Defending champion Jack Kennedy, currently third in the points, will round out the second row.
