Barry Burrell set the pace in today’s BMW F 900 R Cup practice session, beating championship rival Nikki Coates by more than a second.
Burrell’s 1min 46.525s lap was enough to take him 1.122s clear of points leader Coates, as James Ellison rounded out the top three on his return to the series.
Fourth quickest was Christian Smith, with Scott Carson fifth.
