Macadam Triumph Racing’s Luke Stapleford kept himself at the top of the timesheets at the end of Day One at Assen, holding off reigning champ Jack Kennedy.
Stapleford’s 1min 39.246s lap in FP2 was enough to keep him 0.130s ahead of the Honda Racing UK rider, as times tumbled right through the field in this afternoon’s run.
Oliver Barr emerged the quickest of the Binch Pro Ducati team riders with the third best lap of the day, as points leader Rhys Irwin was fourth fastest ahead of the second Binch Pro machine of Joe Talbot.
