Quattro Group British Supersport Championship: Currie leads at the end of Day One

03 October 2025

Ben Currie kept himself at the top of the timesheets as the rain lashed down at Oulton Park this afternoon.

Defending champ Jack Kennedy emerged fastest aboard his Honda Racing UK machine in the second session, but with track conditions considerably worse than they were earlier, the times were way down, with a 1min 48.508s lap the best of the session.

This meant Currie’s 1min 46.522s lap from this morning was enough to keep him ahead at the end of day one – despite only managing the fourth best time of the session.

As a result, Rhys Irwin lies second overnight, with Eunan McGlinchey third, Joe Talbot fourth and Jack Kennedy fifth.
Ben Tolliday stays ahead in the Cup class, with Keo Walker second and Stephen Thomas third.

Quattro Group British Supersport, Combined practice:

1.    Ben Currie (Moto Rapido Ducati) 1min 46.522s
2.    Rhys Irwin (Gearlink Bike Performance 15) +1.369s
3.    Eunan McGlinchey (XMT Racing Triumph) +1.420s
4.    Joe Talbot (Binch Pro Ducati) +1.680s
5.    Jack Kennedy (Honda Racing UK) +1.682s
