Josh Owens got to grips with the challenging conditions in this morning’s opening practice to lead the way by 0.440secs from Matt Truelove.
As the rain worsened, the SAF Holland Honda rider managed a best lap of 1min 51.438secs to go to the top of the timesheets ahead of TAG Racing Honda’s Truelove, as Tom Oliver rounded out the top three.
Owens’ team-mate Finley Arscott ended the session a very close fourth, with points leader Ilya Mikhalchik fifth.
