Pirelli National Superstock Championship: Mikhalchik doubles up in shortened Race Two

18 October 2025

Ilya Mikhalchik powered to his second win of the day in the second Superstock race, which was cut short following a crash on the eighth lap.

The newly-crowned champ, aboard a special ‘champion’ livery machine and running the number one plate, hit the front at the start ahead of David Allingham and took immediate charge.

He led all the way, with Josh Owens chasing Allingham from third position but the race was red-flagged following a crash at Clearways involving Joe Howard and Jake Hopper.

Both riders emerged unhurt but race chiefs ruled the race would not be restarted and awarded half points.

Mikhalchik took win number two of the day from Allingham with Owens third, Eemeli Lahti fourth and Ian Hutchinson fifth.
