Bennetts British Superbike Championship paddock stalwarts G&S Racing have enjoyed a strong 2025 campaign with TJ Toms aboard the Ninja ZX-6R, and their success has seen them rewarded with the official team status for the 2026 season. Retaining TJ for a second year, he will be joined by a second rider to be confirmed at a later date.
It has been a great season for the team and for TJ, with several top tens in the highly competitive Quattro British Supersport Championship and a fantastic podium at Knockhill. Kawasaki UK is now pleased to help them take another step forward in 2026 by becoming the official British Supersport team.
The team are no stranger to the brand, having enjoyed a decades-long partnership with Kawasaki, both as a dealer and across multiple Championships. This will be their first time running the official next-gen Ninja ZX-6R, and they are thrilled to have retained TJ for another season. He will be joined by a second rider, who will be confirmed shortly.
Ross Burridge, Head of Marketing & Racing Department at Kawasaki Motors UK commented: “It has been a pleasure watching the G&S Racing team grow over the years, and they put together a very professional outfit, so we’re very excited they will be becoming our official representatives in the British Supersport class. TJ has had a fantastic season, so we’re very happy he is remaining with the squad for a second season on the Ninja ZX-6R, where we’re sure he will become a regular podium contender.”
Mark Fisher, Team Owner said: “I am delighted for two reasons. Firstly, it is great to have the backing of Kawasaki UK as the official team, having been with them first as a dealership and then as a race team since 1986. It’s nice to be acknowledged for all the hard work that has gone into it over the many years. And secondly, to retain TJ Toms for 2026 after a fantastic year back with us, constantly in the top 10, proving what the Kawasaki ZX-6R can do. Work has already begun on improving our 2026 package, so come round 1, we will be ready to give it our all.”
Tom Fisher, Team Owner concluded: “For 2026, being the official Kawasaki Supersport team for myself and the old man is a great accomplishment. Years of hard work and lots of ups and downs as a small family-run team, this is something we are both proud of. We thank everyone who has helped us along the way to achieve this, and we don’t plan on stopping here. This year, we have made a massive step, and we aim to continue this further in 2026 with the extra support of Kawasaki UK. Plans have already started for 2026, but firstly, we want to end 2025 on a high at Brands Hatch this weekend.”
