Vickers vying for glory on return in 2026 with Honda Racing

15 October 2025

Honda Racing has announced that nine-time Bennetts British Superbike Championship race winner Ryan Vickers will return to the series joining the team, lining up on a factory Honda Fireblade in 2026.

The 26-year-old from Norfolk has been competing in the Superbike World Championship this season, but is no stranger to the series, first celebrating title success in the 2018 National Junior Superstock Championship, before progressing directly into the Superbike class.

Vickers enjoyed a career-best 2024 season, claiming seven wins, ending the campaign fifth in the standings before moving to the world stage. Now, Vickers is ready to return and put his latest experience to the test as he bids for success in 2026 with the Louth-based Honda Racing team.

Vickers said: “I’m extremely proud and privileged to be joining Honda Racing at a very important time in my career and also in the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP’s development. I am really excited as we set out on this project with clear goals, and to be joining a team with such experience and knowledge. I know we will be able to achieve great things together.”

Team Principal Neil Fletcher commented: “Ryan brings a new dimension to Honda Racing for 2026, and we are all delighted to see him join the team and to continue the upward trajectory that his BSB career was taking in 2024. His talents have remained obvious to all, and experience gained in the World championship has proven to be the making of several riders in the BSB paddock. We are all looking forward to writing this new chapter together.”
