Reigning Bennetts British Superbike champion Kyle Ryde has got back on track this weekend, lining up in the Australian Supersport Championship season finale at The Bend circuit.
Ryde will line up in the Stop & Seal Yamaha team for this weekend’s event, finishing second after Free Practice and just 0.017s adrift of the pace-setting time of the day ahead of tomorrow’s Qualifying sessions.
Ryde said: “I got the opportunity to come and race so snapped it straight up. I have a Yamaha R6 practice bike so I know the bike and enjoy it, the track is really good and I am not too far off. It was quite tricky to learn the track with a lot of blind corners, but I am enjoying it. Hopefully we can have a race with the guys at the front and then go and play some golf with my crew chief Shannon!”
