The Bennetts British Superbike Championship has taken delivery of four Honda XL750 Transalps ahead of the new season getting underway this weekend (May 3/4/5) at Oulton Park, with the adventure touring model the choice of the marshal taxi bikes.

The XL750 Transalp is a legend of adventure touring, packing class-leading power and torque. Its chassis delivers light and confident on-road handling plus precise off-road control, with its diverse functionality helping to play an integral part in the circuit operations during an event.

There will also be four SH Mode and two SH125 scooters that will be utilised as the championship’s official paddock scooters.

Honda will also support the TV broadcast operation with a new Pioneer 520, deployed to assist with set-up and breakdown of trackside cabling and equipment. The powerful, versatile and durable model will help aid the off track logistics at each round of the championship.

Andrew Mineyko, Head of Motorcycles and ATV at Honda UK commented: “Racing is part of our DNA and will continue to be so for many years to come and we’re delighted to have the opportunity to support this service to MSV and the BSB series. We know the marshal taxi bikes play a particularly pivotal role across each busy race weekend and the bikes and ATV provided are tailor-made for this purpose”.

Bennetts British Superbike Championship Series Director Stuart Higgs commented: “It is always an exciting time in the build up to the new season and with it comes the delivery of our new taxi bikes and paddock scooters. Honda have always had a strong presence in the British Championship paddock and this new partnership will assist the operational delivery of the events.”
