Luke Stapleford will head the grid for this afternoon’s opening Quattro Group British Supersport race, after beating Jack Kennedy by 0.035s.
The Macadam Triumph Racing rider clocked a best lap of 1min 36.625s to take pole, with Honda Racing UK’s Kennedy lining up next to him in second position.
Rounding out the front row is Eugene McManus, with Ben Currie fourth on the Moto Rapido Ducati and Harry Truelove fifth.
Lewis Jones emerged quickest in the Cup, qualifying first in class and 31st overall, with Ben Tolliday second and Tom Tunstall third.
