Luke Stapleford took control as the Quattro Group British Supersport pack returned to the track, as he beat Ben Currie to the top spot.
The Macadam Triumph Racing rider clocked a best lap of 1min 36.723s, 0.578s clear of Currie’s Moto Rapido Ducati, as Rhys Irwin rounded out the top three on the Performance 15 Suzuki.
Fourth was Harry Truelove, as reigning champion Jack Kennedy could only muster up the fifth best time.
In the Cup, Tom Tunstall led the way, with Lewis Jones second in class and Keo Walker third.
