Ilya Mikhalchik celebrated a double victory for the ROKiT BMW Motorrad team in the final race of the weekend at the MotoGP event at Silverstone, winning by XX to maintain his position at the top of the standings ahead of Snetterton.
The Ukrainian contender launched off the line into the lead and continued to set a consistent sequence of laps early in the race to bridge a gap ahead of Luke Mossey as he was forced to settle for second.
The battle for the podium went down to the closing lap after Tom Ward dropped to fifth with two laps remaining on the Armada Racing Honda. Matt Truelove on the TAG Honda claimed third place on the final lap, making a move on Josh Owens on the SAF Holland Honda to nudge him back to fourth.
