Ilya Mikhalchik will start today’s Pirelli National Superstock Championship race from pole position at MotoGP as the Ukrainian launched to the top of the times in Qualifying at Silverstone.
Mossey had been leading the times as it approached the final ten minutes of the session, but Mikhalchik then moved to the top for ROKiT BMW Motorrad by an impressive 0.523s.
Matt Truelove completes the front row for TAG Honda, moving inside the top three in the final minute of the session to ease Josh Owens back onto the second row for SAF Holland Honda with David Allingham completing the top five.
