Ilya Mikhalchik fired himself to the top of the Pirelli National Superstock Championship Free Practice times at Silverstone this afternoon as the ROKiT BMW Motorrad rider held off Luke Mossey by just 0.012s ahead of tomorrow’s Qualifying and opening race of the weekend at the MotoGP event at Silverstone.
Mikhalchik had the edge of his Milenco by Padgetts Motorcycles Honda rival in the closing stages, with Mossey holding a two-point advantage in the standings ahead of tomorrow’s race. Tom Ward was third fastest for the Armada Racing Honda team, holding off David Allingham and Josh Owens who completed the top five.
