Filip Surowiak denied Ethan Sparks the win in the second R&G British Talent Cup race as he took his second win of the weekend by 0.084s.
The City Lifting Team rider had led from the start but fell into the clutches of Sparks in the latter laps. However, he wasn’t about to beaten and made a last lap move to get back ahead.
Despite Sparks’ attempt to get back past, he was unable to topple the Race One winner and had to settle for second, with Harrison Mackay third, Jack Dunabie fourth and Ryan Frost fifth.
