Ben Currie stormed to pole at an overcast Donington Park this morning as he beat Luke Stapleford to the top spot by 0.055s.
The Moto Rapido Ducati rider clocked a best lap of 1min 29.715secs to clinch P1, forcing Stapleford to settle for second.
Eugene McManus is set to round out the front row after banking the third best lap as reigning champ Jack Kennedy heads Row Two, with Rhys Irwin alongside in fifth.
It was Keo Walker who emerged fastest in the Cup class, with Lewis Jones second and Ben Tolliday third.
