Ben Currie led the way as the Supersport pack headed out for the first time at Donington Park, beating Luke Stapleford to the best time by 0.147secs.
The Moto Rapido Ducati rider clocked a 1min 30.437s lap to go clear of Stapleford’s Macadam Triumph, as Honda’s Dean Harrison was third quickest.
Eugene McManus continues to stick in the top five, finishing fourth in the session and just ahead of reigning champ, Jack Kennedy.
The Cup class was led by Lewis Jones, with Ben Tolliday second and Keo Walker third.
