Lewis Rollo is set to make his return to the Bennetts British Superbike Championship with the Sencat by Swan Racing Aprilia team next weekend (July 4/5/6) at his home round of Knockhill following his recovery from his testing injury.
Rollo has been sidelined with a back injury since a heavy crash during testing at Circuito de Navarra and have been continuing his recovery, whilst supporting the team trackside. The Scottish contender returned today with a test at Knockhill, completing 65 laps of the Fife circuit.
Rollo said: “What a day it’s been getting back out on my wee Aprilia. Anyone driving over the Forth Road Bridge would have seen my smile from the Knockhill hill! My body is feeling good and I have been working away as I have lost a lot of bike time, and the bike has changed a lot since the last time I rode it, but we will keep spinning laps and keep smiling. I am pleased to be back with the team.”
