Nikki Coates kicked-off the weekend on top of the timesheets at the end of free practice, as he led James Bull by 0.184secs.
As the series returned for its second round, Coates’ best lap of 2min 0.443secs was enough to keep him ahead of Bull, with Richard Cooper third, Kalvin Kelly fourth and Barry Burrell fifth.
