Luke Stapleford ended the opening day at Snetterton on top after clocking a 1min 50.656sec lap to hold off reigning champ Jack Kennedy.
Kennedy had led this morning’s opening session, but as the pack returned to acton this afternoon, it was Macadam Triumph Racing’s Stapleford who had the edge, going 0.276s quicker than his rival.
Ben Currie was third on the Moto Rapido Ducati, with Zak Corderoy fourth and Rhys Irwin fifth.
In the Cup, Joe Farragher stayed on top, with Keo Walker second and Stephen Thomas third.
