Leon Haslam is ready to come out fighting to add to his winning tally at the next round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Snetterton (June 20/21/22) as the Moto Rapido Ducati Racing team bid to add to their opening victory at Oulton Park.
Haslam admits he is in a much stronger position this season since making the return to Ducati, joining the Moto Rapido Ducati Racing team and is ready to come out fighting for consistent podium finishes when the Bennetts BSB action returns to Snetterton this month.
Haslam said: “I am loving it this year; it has been a bit of a whirlwind from testing straight into racing and obviously round one went really well. A podium and a win and going into Donington was a bit more of a tougher weekend as we had a few little issues but the team responded amazingly and every time we went out we improved. It wasn’t the results we wanted at Donington but we were there or thereabouts and the pace was strong and we had a very good learning weekend.
“Snetterton will be a new challenge as it isn’t a circuit I have done a massive amount of miles at and I think the Ducati goes really well there. From my perspective, we will start again on the Friday and the team are fired up, I really enjoy riding with them and their enthusiasm. We have been in the mix for the top three so far this season so I am super excited and motivated to see what we can do at Snetterton.”
