Josh Brookes set the pace in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship warm up session at Knockhill, keeping the DAO Racing Honda team 0.535s clear of their rivals in the damp but drying conditions.
Brookes held the leading position ahead of Danny Kent on the McAMS Racing Yamaha, with yesterday’s race winner Bradley Ray completing the top three.
Kyle Ryde was fourth fastest as Fraser Rogers completed the top five riders, easing Leon Haslam into sixth place ahead of Andrew Irwin and Scott Redding. Charlie Nesbitt and Scott Swann held the final positions inside the top ten ahead of race two.
