Fenton Seabright finally broke Kas Beekmans’ winning streak as he charged to his first victory of the year in the final race of the day.
The race was shortened to 10 laps following a red flag, and it was to be a dramatic battle between a handful of riders.
Beekmans took the lead at the start but Seabright was ahead by the end of the first lap and as the race wore on, the lead swapped between them and Asher Durham who had fought through from the second row.
Seabright led into the final lap but Beekmans was determined not to lose, hitting the front briefly before Seabright fought back, taking back the lead with a dive down the inside into the hairpin for the final time and holding it to the line.
Beekmans had to make do with second, with Durham third, Ferre Fleerackers fourth and Harrison Dessoy fifth.
