Pirelli National Sportbike Championship: Barnes fastest in FP2 but Durham stays on top

04 July 2025

Ash Barnes banked the quickest lap in today’s two FP2 sessions at Knockhill – but Asher Durham leaves the opening day ahead with his hot lap from this morning.

In a rainy afternoon in Scotland, Barnes clocked the best time of the two groups with a 56.982s lap, the only rider to dip under the 57s.

However, it was still way down on Durham’s 53.900s set this morning, as nobody was able to get close as the weather worsened and this morning's top five remained the same.

Pirelli National Sportbike Championship, Combined practice:

1.    Asher Durham (Powerslide Suzuki) 53.900s
2.    Ferre Fleerackers (B.art Racing Team) +0.026s
3.    Harrison Dessoy (PHR Performance Triumph) +0.665s
4.    Fenton Seabright (FHS Racing/RD Racing) +1.022s
5.    Taylor Moreton (Powerslide Suzuki) +1.322s
