Bradley Ray set the pace in this morning’s Bennetts British Superbike Championship warm up at Brands Hatch, as the Raceways Yamaha rider led Tommy Bridewell by 0.313secs.
The session was stopped briefly when Josh Brookes crashed his DAO Racing Honda on the exit of Paddock Hill Bend, but quickly got back underway, with yesterday’s winner Ray emerging on top with a best lap of 1m:24.935s.
Honda Racing UK’s Bridewell was second quickest at the chequered flag, just ahead of defending champion Kyle Ryde, who was just 0.060s adrift of Bridewell.
Rory Skinner was fourth aboard his Cheshire Mouldings Ducati, just ahead of the Hager PBM Ducati of Scott Redding, as AJN Steelstock Kawasaki riders Max Cook and Christian Iddon finished the session sixth and seventh respectively.
Honda Racing UK’s Andrew Irwin was eighth, with Moto Rapido Ducati Racing’s Leon Haslam ninth, as DAO Racing Honda’s Lee Jackson rounded out the top 10.
