Ethan Sparks stormed to the win in today’s shortened BTC race with a lights-to-flag victory over team-mate Jack Dunabie.
The rookie converted pole into the lead at the start and quickly cleared off at the front, leaving the fight to be for second place between Dunabie, points leader Filip Surowiak and Harrison Mackay.
Dunabie was running second when the race was stopped after 10 laps due to changing conditions as rain began to fall and took the runner-up spot 4.907secs behind Sparks.
Surowiak crossed the line third, with Mackay fourth as Ryan Frost rounded out the top five
