Barry Burrell remained the rider to beat this afternoon after topping the Qualifying timesheets, 0.439secs clear of Nikki Coates with a best lap of 1min 34.232secs.
It means the Halliwell Jones Motorrad rider will line up on pole for Heat One tomorrow, as Coates leads the grid for Heat Two.
Burrell’s team-mate, Richard Cooper, was third fastest, having led an earlier part of the session with Kieran Smith fourth and James Bull fifth.
