Rhys Irwin remained in control during this afternoon’s FP2 session at Brands Hatch, ending the day almost half a second clear of Ben Currie.
The championship leader picked up where he left off after FP1 as he clocked a best lap of 1min 27.348secs, 0.462secs clear of Moto Rapido Ducati Racing’s Currie.
Defending champion Jack Kennedy, who had been second quickest in this morning’s session, could only find the third quickest time, 0.283secs behind Currie.
Very close behind and just 0.119s adrift in fourth was Lee Johnston, as Luke Stapleford also improved from this morning to round out the top five.
Joe Farragher managed to stay ahead in the Cup class, ending the day just one place ahead of Keo Walker, with Ben Tolliday third.
