Bobby Varey returned to the top step of the ROKiT OFF BMW F 900 R Cup podium by taking victory in the Last Chance Qualifier race ahead of tomorrow’s Main Event at Donington Park.
Varey came through the pack to win by 14.436s from Jordan Warren-Goode, who had been the race leader until the closing stages took second place ahead of Rhys Coates.
Coates had taken third from Harry Gower with Luke Forman holding off Darren Fry for the final place in the top five.
The top 14 riders will join tomorrow’s Main Event race at Donington Park.
