XMT Racing has announced a three-strong rider line-up on their Triumphs for the 2026 campaign with Jamie Davis and Zak Corderoy in the Quattro Group British Supersport and Zak Shelton in the Pirelli British Sportbike Championship for the forthcoming season.
Davis had his first taste of British Championship action in the Superbike class this year, but now returns to the Supersport class, the series where he has most experience during his career. Zak Corderoy, who edged closer to top five finishes during this season, joins Davis in the Supersport Championship.
Zak Shelton in the Pirelli British Sportbike Championship completes the team line-up, as he looks to progress with the team throughout the forthcoming campaign.
Corderoy said: “I am buzzing to join XMT Racing for next season. Huge thanks to Chris and his team for this opportunity to race the Triumph 765 in the British Supersport Championship again. We have a solid testing plan and I believe we have everything in place to have a great season. As always a massive thanks to all my personal and the team’s sponsors for making this possible.”
Davis said: “What can I say? I am so excited to start this new journey. Whilst I have learnt a lot in my season on the Superbike, I have decided to make this move. My aim has always been to win, and I know that Chris has the same mind-set. I’m grateful we can start this adventure together.
“I cannot wait to jump onboard the triumph 765 and get going, the bike is a weapon and the team are not holding back. We are coming in to make a statement. I want to thank everyone involved for this opportunity and for seeing the potential in myself.”
Shelton said: “I am really excited to stay with XMT for another year. I’m taking everything I learnt last year with me to perform to the best of my ability and get the results me and the team deserve. Thanks again to Chris for this opportunity. Let’s get it!”
Chris Hicks, Team Owner, commented: “I'm excited about 2026! This is a strong line up across two classes.
“We have had a lot of discussions since the end of the season and I'm excited to put Zak Cordoroy in a position where he can concentrate on riding, and he can really go out there and show us what he can do. I feel with the correct testing will do well on a Triumph 765.
“Jamie joins us after a season in Superbikes and his passion for just wanting to ride and do well is obvious when you speak to him. We feel Jamie could be this year's dark horse in the Supersport class.
“This is a big year for Zak Shelton; we know he has it in him and has the talent, so next season he needs to get his head down and be consistently securing top five finishes, because there is the opportunity to progress within the team in the future.”
