Kyle Ryde smashed the existing lap record by 0.512s to claim his first Omologato Pole Position of the 2025 Bennetts British Superbike Championship season for Nitrous Competitions Racing Yamaha, holding a 0.175s advantage over standings leader Bradley Ray as Leon Haslam completed the front row.
Ryde fired the impressive lap in towards the beginning of the session, which he would hold in the closing stages despite Ray closing in on his final laps of the Bandero Café Shoot Out Qualifying session.
Ray stormed into second as Haslam have the Moto Rapido Ducati Racing team a home round front row starting position, just 0.004s adrift of the Raceways Yamaha ahead of him.
Charlie Nesbitt will lead the second row for MasterMac Honda ahead of Honda Racing UK’s Tommy Bridewell and Max Cook on the AJN Steelstock Kawasaki, that eased Andrew Irwin, Danny Kent and Christian Iddon onto row three, with Scott Swann completing the top ten.
