Filip Surowiak took control as the BTC pack hit the track for the first time this weekend, beating Ryan Frost to the best lap by more than a second.
The points leader found a 1min 22.279s on his final lap of the session to go 1.240s clear of Frost.
Harrison Mackay was a close third, just 0.101s behind Frost, as Clayton Edmunds was fourth quickest, ahead of Mason Foster.
