Championship leader Kas Beekmans was back at his best in the second Sportbike practice session as he saw off Fenton Seabright to end the opening day on top.
The Dutch rider stuck in a 1min 19.982sec lap in FP2 to beat Seabright by just 0.057secs, as Harrison Dessoy was third quickest.
Ferre Fleerackers was fourth fastest at the end of the day as this morning’s leader, Ahs Barnes, rounded out the top five.
