Defending Bennetts British Superbike champion Kyle Ryde and 2022 champion Bradley Ray arrive at Donington Park for the final round of the Main Season separated by just two points following an intense weekend at Cadwell Park.
Nitrous Competitions Racing Yamaha’s Ryde has slashed Ray’s advantage at the top of the standings, as the Raceways Yamaha rider’s initial edge following an incredible run of eight victories has been decimated.
The Donington Park weekend features a four-race programme for the Bennetts British Superbike Championship contenders, giving a maximum points haul of 72 available before the points value increases in the Showdown.
Meanwhile, Leon Haslam and Moto Rapido Ducati Racing climbed to third in the standings following a hard-fought weekend at Cadwell Park, with just ten points separating the 2018 champion from Danny Kent and McAMS Racing Yamaha, whilst Cheshire Mouldings Ducati’s Rory Skinner is just a further two points adrift.
