Barry Burrell moved to just one point behind Nikki Coates in the championship standings as he beat his rival by more than five seconds in today’s Main Event.
The Halliwell Jones Motorrad rider stormed through the pack from fifth place in the opening lap, catching Coates - who had taken the lead from Kieran Smith on the third lap – on Lap Four.
It took just a lap and a half to find his way past, pouncing at the hairpin with a clean sweep up the inside and once ahead, he cleared off into the distance to eventually take the chequered flag 5.016secs clear of Coates who finished second.
Kieran Smith was third, just ahead of James Bull as Josh Corner rounded out the top five.
