Barry Burrell remained the man to beat in this afternoon’s qualifying session – but he only just managed to hang on to the top spot by 0.009s.
Burrell just managed to edge out points leader Nikki Coates to bag pole for tomorrow’s opening Heat race, as Coates will head the grid for Heat Two.
Christian Smith was third ahead of twin brother Kieran, so the pair will each start from P2 in tomorrow’s races, while James Bull was fifth to start P3 in Heat One and Josh Corner will round out the front row for Heat Two.
