Barry Burrell appeared to pick up where he left off at Thruxton a fortnight ago as he made easy work of today’s first practice, beating rival Nikki Coates by more than a second.
Fresh from victory last time out, the Halliwell Jones Motorrad rider took control in this afternoon’s opening session, clocking a 1min 34.202s lap, some 1.352s clear of points leader Nikki Coates, who posted the second quickest lap.
Christian Smith was third, as Josh Corner finished FP1 fourth and James Bull rounded out the top five.
