Danny Kent and the McAMS Racing Yamaha team head into this weekend’s seventh round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship bidding to continue their impressive run of form as the title chase reaches Cadwell Park.
Following a challenging start to the season, recent breakthroughs, including a hard-fought double victory at Thruxton, have put the team in a strong position heading into the weekend’s Bank Holiday event - sat third in the championship standings after progressing two positions up the order two weeks ago.
Kent said: “I’m looking forward to getting back aboard the Yamaha R1 at Cadwell Park this weekend. It’s always been a challenging track for us, but our test there earlier in the year has given us some confidence as we head into the weekend.
“Thruxton was a whirlwind of a weekend; we showed what we know we are capable of and delivered a huge dose of confidence as we head into the remainder of the year. This weekend, we’ll work hard to maintain our improved position in the championship standings and aim to improve on our efforts from last season.”
