Championship leader Ilya Mikhalchik was back on the top step of the podium in today’s Superstock race after a commanding win of more than five seconds.
The ROKiT BMW Motorrad rider hit the front on the opening lap with a move on Nathan Harrison and from there couldn’t be touched as he carved out an unassailable lead.
He eventually crossed the line 5.389secs clear of David Allingham who took second, as Tom Ward managed to hold onto third after battling with yesterday’s winner Josh Owens in the closing laps.
Fourth was Finley Arscott for the SAF Holland Honda team as TAG Racing Honda’s Matt Truelove was fifth.
