Harley McCabe took the opening race win of the day this morning, as title favourite Lucas Brown crashed out.
McCabe hit the front on the opening lap as Brown – looking keen to tie up the championship early – settled into second, but then crashed out on lap three.
McCabe beat Ryan Frost to victory by 1.574secs as Julian Correa was third, Amanuel Brinton fourth and Clayton Edmunds fifth.
