Robert Varey celebrated his maiden BMW Motorrad F 900 R Cup Main Race victory at Donington Park as he beat Nikki Coates by 0.452secs.
After a strong weekend, Varey kept a cool head and made a penultimate lap move for the lead, passing points leader Thomas Strudwick to move ahead and then was able to hold off his rivals to cross the line first.
Coates also managed to find a way past Strudwick on the final lap to take second, as James Ellison finished fourth and Mason Johnson fifth.
