Thomas Strudwick and Robert Varey both converted poles into wins in today’s ABK Beer 0% BMW Motorrad F 900 R Cup Heat races.
Heat One proved to be a simple lights-to-flag victory for Strudwick, who beat Barry Burrell to the flag by 1.875secs as Mason Johnson was third, Christian Smith fourth and his brother Kieran fifth.
In Heat Two, it was James Ellison who got the lead at the start, but he was unable to stop Varey getting past on the fifth lap and although Ellison fought back, Varey found his way back ahead.
Varey crossed the line first, ahead of Nikki Coates with Ellison third, James Bull fourth and Paul Young fifth.
