Kalvin Kelly beat his ROKiT Rookies team-mate Brodie Gawith to pole ahead of tomorrow’s opening race with a best lap of 1min 39.330secs.
Gawith, who had stormed to the top of the timesheets after bouncing back from a crash in free practice, parked his machine with several minutes to go which gave Kelly the chance to hit the track and put in a number of fast laps to take pole.
James Cook will round out the front row, with Freddy Oakley fourth and Henry Snell fifth.
