TAG Honda have continued their home round build up with the confirmation that Matt Truelove and Shaun Winfield will return in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship next season.
The pair have continued to take steps forward this season with the Honda Fireblade, including a podium finish for Truelove at Knockhill and now they are already looking ahead to the 2025 season.
Truelove said: "I am delighted to be remaining with the TAG Honda team for 2025. My time with the team over the last two years has been a great journey, improving every round we go into. Since becoming a father, racing within a family team has been even more important and I have achieved my most successful year to date. I have every confidence in our ability to perform and next season and I will be looking to achieve as many top-step finishes as possible."
Winfield said: "Since the beginning of this season, battling with my ill health, I have also had two pretty significant changes including the introduction to the 2024 ‘Blade and working with a new Crew Chief, Pete Jennings. At this point now, in the season, I am feeling much stronger in myself and the relationships the team have built has been amazing. It's a good feeling to know that 2025 will continue this set-up and I am confident my performance will return with some silverware in 2025."
Gary Winfield, Team Manager concluded: "The lads have absolutely given it their all this season. Without question, their drive to succeed is infectious and we are always looking for those small margins to improve and develop where necessary. It's been a pleasure to manage the garage this season and we are united in our determination to make 2025 the most successful Superstock Championship for TAG Honda."
